OMG ! Break out the noose ! K-Rudd has seen boobies !

My evil cohort has already made a very good reference to the new K-Rudd 'scandal' which has hit the headlines today so there is nothing new that I can add to her comments except to join the list of people in 'Who the hell cares?' land.

If anything, for me it has only secured my vote - not that there was any doubt anyway.

I mean for Christ's sake - so the man had a few too many drinks, was in a room with a number of bared boobaroonas and possibly a bare vajayjay or two and might have attempted to touch up one of the owners of the aforementioned body parts ...but.... does this behaviour really indicate 'questionable moral character' or simply prove that K-Rudd is - shock, horror - HUMAN ?

If he had done it say, last week - then ok, there could be some cause for concern given the stakes now but this was in 2003. Is one of the things we look for in our supposed 'leader' not a depth of life experience? Ok, so going to a strip club is hardly something you would include on your resume but surely it is not cause to bring a person's morals and credibility into question.

Little Johnny Tryhard must be jumping for joy right about now - at least until his next stumbling block sets him on his arse yet again. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the man has never actually seen a woman naked .... ok so he has children but it doesn't stop the image of him and Jeanette having a few fumbling encounters in a dark room with both parties still fully dressed ....... ok - that thought has even disturbed me !

The poll on ninemsn today posed the question "Will Kevin Rudd's strip club admission affect your vote?" and out of 46165 people who responded nearly 60% voted "Yes" ..... my question to those people in the 60% is .... "WHY?"

I watched Robin Williams in "Man Of The Year" on Friday night which tells the story of a TV host/comedian who finds himself campaigning for the U.S Presidency. When a 'scandal' breaks and a reporter asks him if he thinks it will affect his campaign he gives a very open and honest answer ... perhaps K-Rudd could consider a similar type of response ?
